Wagga Trucks has expanded!

Wagga Trucks has today expanded beyond its Wagga Wagga base, opening in Queanbeyan as the authorised dealer for Volvo, UD, Mack and Freighter Group Trailers across the Southern Highlands, Goulburn, Canberra and the South Coast from Ulladulla to Eden.

The Queanbeyan operation gives Canberra and South Coast operators direct access to new and used trucks, full workshop servicing and a dedicated parts department, backed by a business with nearly three decades of industry experience and a proven reputation for long-term support.

Matt Shaw, who owns and operates Wagga Trucks with his wife Naomi, said today represents a milestone for a business built on backing operators for the long run.

"Wagga Trucks has been built on relationships. Customers who have been with us for 10, 15, 20 years because we show up for them every time. That is what we are bringing to the Canberra region. Not just a dealership, a business that will still be here for these operators for the long term."

Heading up the Queanbeyan operation is Ben Yates, who brings more than 20 years of experience across the truck, transport and rural industries. His background spans fleet sales, truck remarketing and valuation, rural operations and business ownership, giving him a practical understanding of what operators across the region need from a dealership. Ben joins Wagga Trucks with a vested interest in the expansion and its long-term growth.

Olivia Murray, General Manager of Wagga Trucks said finding the right person on the ground was as important as the expansion itself.

Founded in Wagga Wagga in 1997, Wagga Trucks has grown into one of the Riverina's most established dealerships, representing Volvo, UD, Mack, Freighter Group and Hino. The business employs more than 80 staff across the branches and serves customers across Australia.

The Canberra region location is now open at 12 Wycombe St, Queanbeyan NSW 2620.
