Try A Trade Day
Wagga Trucks will be taking part in the Try a Trade & Employment Expo, giving local students the opportunity to explore different career pathways and connect directly with employers from across the region.
The expo is designed to give students practical exposure to different industries, with businesses on hand to talk about apprenticeships, traineeships, employment opportunities and what working in their industry actually involves. Previous Wagga events have brought together hundreds of students and dozens of local employers for interactive career activities.
At the Wagga Trucks stand, students can meet the team and learn more about career pathways within the heavy vehicle industry, including:
Heavy vehicle mechanics
Spray painting
Sales
Apprenticeships and future employment opportunities
Work experience for students who would like to explore the industry before deciding on their next step
